Violinist Mikyung Kim Kwon holds a Doctor’s degree from Rutgers University, a Master’s Degree from The Juilliard School, and a Bachelor’s degree from the Oberlin Conservatory, having worked under Robert Mann, Kyung Sun Lee, and Philipp Quint. She has performed nationally and internationally, including at the Kneisel Hall  Chamber Music, Norfolk, and Aspen Music Festival and School festivals. Over the last decade, she has taught at the Pre-college division of Brooklyn College, at Lucy Moses School at Kaufman Music Center in NYC, Frisco ISD and presently Rockwall ISD. She is a current member of the Sherman Symphony Orchestra and she recently opened her private violin studio in Forney, TX.
