Teaching Philosophy
"Teaching is my greatest happiness as I have the opportunity to see my students grow as they get confidence in their skills. My teaching philosophy is not just about lessons, but also about their life. I truly care about my students and all aspects of their lives: musical, intellectual, and emotional".
"Learning to play violin takes a lot of patience and dedication. I always tell my students not to get discouraged because they do not see any progress soon. Improving their skills is like training the muscles. This begins in instruction based upon training with scales and etudes.
I also help my students learn how they can practice efficiently, incorporating music theory and history into their violin playing, and creating their unique sound".
"I also encourage my students to play not only for themselves, but also for others who need comfort and healing. I strongly think that the more you share your music with others, the more its power gets strengthened. Performing in community centers or nursing homes, etc will be one of the ways to fulfil it. In the end, I want my students to play the violin with joy, confidence and passion, and to learn to live as a generous and humble individual".
